Glimpse uses accounts to keep lesson progress, XP, streaks, reminders, and Pro status available across devices. Purchases are managed through the App Store or Google Play.

Plain summary

Glimpse saves learning progress to your account, uses store purchase systems for Pro access, and uses diagnostics to keep lessons reliable. Glimpse does not sell personal information and does not use personal data for cross-app advertising tracking.

Mobile purchases

Mobile subscription purchases and restore actions are handled by Apple or Google. Manage or cancel your subscription through your store account settings.

Learning progress

Lesson progress, XP, streaks, quiz choices, reminders, and settings are connected to your Glimpse account and cached in the app for a fast experience.

Purchase data

Mobile subscription status and restore state come from the App Store or Google Play. Glimpse does not process card details.

Support data

Support messages, privacy requests, and screenshots or device details you choose to send to QuantumPlain support.

Diagnostics and usage

App version, device model, operating system, crash reports, diagnostics, performance events, and lesson interaction events used to improve reliability and lesson quality.

Data should make the app better.

Glimpse uses learning state to show progress, calculate XP and streaks, remember settings, schedule reminders, and unlock Pro features after store purchase restoration.

Aggregated or de-identified usage patterns may improve curriculum order, interaction design, animation reliability, simulator-link reliability, and app performance.

Cookies, analytics, and diagnostics

The public web site may use local storage or similar technologies for display preferences, analytics, and reliability. The mobile app also keeps a recent copy of progress and settings on the device so lessons feel fast.

Children and student use

Glimpse is not directed to children under 13. Parents or guardians can contact support with privacy questions.

Your choices

You can contact support about account data, disable reminders in Settings, restore or cancel purchases through the App Store or Google Play, and unsubscribe from The Observable newsletter from the email footer.
